A female United Kingdom age 36-40, *acy writes:

I was seeing a guy who works in the same building as me for a few weeks, we met up in a hotel and at his place and also at lunch times. These meetings became just for sex for him. We decided that after a certain week end we would leave it so no one got hurt because he obviously didnt want anything more that sex and i didnt like the thougt of only seeing and speaking to someone for sex. He then told me mid week he was out on a date (the day after us having sex) i was shocked has he said he didnt do dates!! We have text friendly messages since, he didnt reply to some so i didnt bother texting again, i then bumped into him with his work mates and (he thought i hadn't seen him) he tried hiding and all his mates started laughing......i'm not sure hwat he has told them but i have to work with all these people............what could i do.......i feel sooo humiliated?

A female reader, TELLULAH United Kingdom +, writes (13 August 2008):

TELLULAH agony auntHoney, why should you feel humilated. It sounds to me like you would have dated this guy, its him that used it as a sex session, not you.

He is an immature idiot, so dont worry about it. So what if his stupid mates have a laugh, they probably think he is a rotten person for doing it really, but of course they wont say so.

Hold your head up and ignore them.

Dont let anyone do it again to you though. XXXX

Without knowing what was said to his workmates it's difficult to answer this one, but the best I can come up with is for you to wiggle your little finger with a knowing smile in his direction when his mates are looking. The laugh - whatever it is - will be on him then.
