You're 30 and you don't know what "Take Care" means?
Are you SURE you were honest about your age? You write in text speak like a young teenager, honestly.
"Take care" is the same thing as "Goodbye" "See you Later" "Talk to you tomorrow"...it's a standard farewell that means "Take care of yourself, goodbye". Just a shortened version.

Hi,
I use this a lot when I finish texts or emails to people I know. He isn't breaking up, it's simply a friendly way of ending a text. He explained he didn't mean to disrespect and then said take care....that is...look after you, don't jump under a bus, don't fall off a cliff etc.
Sometimes we find it hard to end texts or emails...do we say bye bye, love, kind regards, look forward, take care? These are understood expressions of the english language like yours faithfully, yours sincereley. Hope this clears things up a little for you. Take care, G xx (you see, I just said it!!!!)

i duno some people use take care like if they're like upset and know they upset someone else they said like take care like they want you to know they are sorry and didn't mean to upset you and that they won't bother texting you like every 5 mins to let you know they are sorry.he just wants you to know that he knows when you need your space and that he won't flood you with calls and texts after an argument.he's not breaking up with you.

in my opinion he is jsut saying sorry and take care, as in look after yourself etc
im guessing he is sorry and doesnt want any hard feelings, as they say you shouldnt go to bed angry

I've often wondered what the term "take care" meant, too. But mine is a different scenario than yours, eh4ad.There's a guy I like and we email each other quite a bit. The majority of his emails he'll end with "take care." I don't know if it's just a friendly expression or if it's a term of endearment (we both have been flirting quite a bit). He usually puts it at the end of a really flirty/teasy email. Anyone care to enlighten me?

No. Not necessarily at all...it means, see you...take care...talk to you later..."Sorry, I meant no disrespect" to me was the meat of the text!
