A female United States age 30-35, *ovebug21 writes:

My boyfriend and I have been together for over a year and a half. We got into an argument the other day. He started to say something along the lines of " I was thinking about our relationship..."

He didnt finish. He just stopped and said "nevermind."

I asked him to finish his statement, so he did. He said "I was starting to think about our relationship and, I thought maybe we could take it to the next level. But we need to stop arguing about stupid things."

What does "taking it to the next level" mean in a relationship. We dont technically live together although I spend the night at his house all the time. And we have been together for quite some time now. I would appreciate some honest answers. Thank you!
