hi to cut a long story short this is my story... http://www.dearcupid.org/question/why-has-my-girlfriend-suddenly-changed.html

but what i want to ask is, what does my ex gf mean when she says she feels trapped and feels too young for a serious relationship even though she is 20..that she doestnt like long term relationships, and that she wants to do lots of things before she settles down

at first she wanted to have an open relationship...or rather as she considers me her best friend for us to still see each other but in a more casual way

I was hit like a ton of bricks by the news and i am slowly healing...i'm gaining someof the weight i lost through not eating and i am gradually getting my normal sleep pattern back

as i hve signed up as a member i would wonder if anyone coud share there advicewith me...

A male reader, CaringGuy United Kingdom +, writes (18 January 2010):

It means as she says. She needs to go out into the world by herself and find out who she is. She wants to meet other people, she wants to have fun without having to worry about cheating on you. Sometimes people have to fund themselves before they can truly settle. Though it hurts, it's better that it ended now, rather than ended ten years down the line if you'd been married or something. So the question you now have to ask is whether or not you are happy with having her as a casual friend, or whether you'd be better off moving on now and saving yourself hurt.
