reader, anonymous, writes (16 April 2007): I am Indian but was born in the Westen world. I do live a very eastern life here, I mean really into the culture. The problem may be with her family becasue most of the time, East Indians only want people of their own race for their children to be married to. This may be a problem. On the other hand, I know families who don't have a problem with that. You see, their main concern is that the relation may go wrong becasue it may be hard for a westerner to adjust to eastern culture ( they never like to stray form their culture )
I believe that if you both love eachother that's beautiful ,and that's all that counts, I would say " NOT A PROBLEM " I wish you both happiness and lots of love.OH ! just a bit of advice, both of you should respect at all times each other's beliefs and culture. Good luck Guy !

i think it's exactly the same as a bengali boy dating a bengali girl or a white boy dating a white girl. as long as they like each other i don't see where the problem lies :)
