i dont think guys realise how uncomfortable it is when u shave down there
im 15 and shaved a few times and the ingrown hairs are sooooo bad and painful and unless you have sex striaght after you shave, i think the prickly feel is worse than having all the hair
razor burn hurts =[
our areas are sensitive and i think guys are way too picky!

If both partners agree to do what the other one wishes shave or not and keep it up that is best. It takes about 5 minutes a day to keep it well shaved. It is much more sensitive during sex if it is shaved so if you have a hard time climaxing this could do it for you. You will get more excited faster due to the increased sensitivity.

I mean, what is a guy gonna say... "Hey, go shave before we do anything"... I doubt it. All that's on his mind is getting to home plate. If he insists, and you are uncomfortable with shaving after he knows that you have a forest, then he is not the right guy for you and you probably are not the right girl for him, so move on.However, if you are going to wear a skimpy bathing suit down there, please trim so everything that shows is smooth. I know some people get off on seeing hair peek out, but it is rather unsightly, especially if you've shaved your legs smooth, and left a mess elsewhere.Also, if you like for men to perform orally on you, it is much more pleasant and easier if you shave everything from just above your clit down to be smooth. Go ahead and leave a landing strip above, but make it smooth where your guy is gonna lick. Gals I have gone down on have said that by shaving that area, it gets more sensitive and enhances the oral experience. I shave my balls and junk now because of a request by one girl a long time ago because my hair made it unpleasant for her to give me a oral sex, and the enhanced experience from shaving has made oral sex more enjoyable for me, so I understand why it works for you gals.

You need to do what makes YOU feel good. I personally think shaven is odd. Psychologically it is trying to make women and men look like children - isn't that just a little strange that people find children's genitals sexy?
There are all sorts of people in the world. The guys who are worth it want you just the way you are. And they are attracted to you because you know what you want. Don't do anything for anyone else. Do it for yourself.
In my experience my best lovers were men who liked the natural look. The ones who were obsessed with being shaven were duds. Not to mention that there is nothing less comfortable during sex than razor burn.

 Shaven is fine, but I know it can get quite uncomfortable for some as the hairs grow back. So trimmed is what I prefer - it's a compromise. I don't like bushy - difficult to do oral and really messy for periods, especially when having sex during her period.

 Seeing as I'm a female, I'll give you the low-down on my routine.
Slather on the shaving cream into all nooks a crannies, whip out a razor, shave DOWN, away from your face, while you pull your skin tightly upwards. Shave around other areas as comfortabley as I possibley can. I don't ever shave into the direction of the growth. Ingrown hairs, plus I have sensitive skin, which you might too, never know. So, yea, shaven rather closely, I still look like a 2 or 3 o clock shadow, but it's smooth where it needs to be smooth, and litterally clean-shaven where it needs to be for not only my comfort, but the comfort of my boyfriend.
He says he prefers shaven, but, then, I'm the only girl he's ever been with and he's never seen me with more than a week or a week and a half's growth.
If I were you, I'd hold off on the shaving until you knew if your man would like it. Besides, I used to have really soft, fine, dark brown pubic hair...Now it's just not the same. It's like shaving your legs: It grows back thicker, darker, and not as attractive. Good luck! -Carrie
