reader, anonymous, writes (5 October 2015): Look if you want to look like a man of the world and confident invite her to an ordinary but nice cafe,ask her what she likes to have and make sure you order the same for both of you, make sure you look clean and smell nice but dress casually and for god's sake don't try to imitate any film or tv star or talk like them. Those are nice seen on the screen but sound utterly stupid in real life.Ask her about her holiday, her work her hobbies, what she likes and what she dislikes,and try to find common subjects between you and her to talk about, and be prepared to be asked the same things in return.In general act normal but courteous. That is all.
