 Bring something special to your area so they have a piece of your culture. Also some flowers are a nice welcoming gift to the entire household.

Take them something 'Ebglish' like fudge or shortcake in a nice tin, lavender or rose perfume or soaps. If you live near a tourist resort go to one of the shops and there will be loads of 'English' stuff to buy.
What about a piece of china- a flan dish. A typical english food recipe book. A book about England with lots of pictures in case they dont read English or book with pictures of where you come from or a calandar of the countryside.
