What could this bump inside my vagina be?

A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Basically, a couple of days ago I was touching myself down there, and on the edge of my outer lip I found a very small skin coloured, headless bump (not a blister). I tried squeezing it yesterday (it was very hard) and after a while a small bit of clear fluid came out along with a tiny bit of blood. It went down significantly after and I put savlon cream on it. I looked at it today and it’s pretty much flat, a bit sore and kinda has a yellow-ish/skin coloured layer over it.

Do you think it could be an STI? I have my doubts though as I’ve only had sex with 2 long term boyfriends (C) and (A). C’s first time was with one of my best friends L, and they took each others’ virginities. C didn't sleep with anyone until me and him got together. I took A’s virginity.

Me and C did do oral (unprotected) but this was a year ago. I’ve slept with A recently for the first time. A doesn’t seem the sort to cheat on me and he didn’t have any cuts, bumps or sores around/on his penis. We haven’t done oral. Me and both guys used condoms for vaginal sex.

I personally doubt it’s herpes as I didn’t feel any tingling or pain until I ‘popped’ the little bump (I didn’t even notice it form), and it definitely wasn’t a blister. I don’t think its warts either since I’ve heard you can’t ‘pop’ warts.

If it’s not gone in a few days I will get it checked out, but any ideas to what it could be? I’m getting really worried. Could it be an STI? Or just a simple irritated spot that I shouldn’t have picked?

Many thanks :)

Thank you all for your answers :) It seems to be getting a little better now and less painful, so I'm just gonna keep an eye on it, and see a doctor if it gets any worse/ hasn't gone in a few days. ^_^

So_Very_Confused agony auntI doubt it's an STD... sounds like a boil or a cyst or even an infected hair... I get lumps and bumps all the time... I have one that comes in the same spot over and over and it hurts/itches etc.

I even had it cultured during a breakout that was so bad and the doctor and I were so sure it was herpes and it turned out to be NOTHING.... it's just what my body does and has done on and off since puberty...

IF you are concerned, by all means see a doctor (and during an outbreak is a better idea so they can culture it)

It seems for me, my mom had them as well and that it's just part of my make up... it may be a form of herpes (as is Chicken pox and shingles) but it's not sexually transmitted....

Most likely a cyst, I had one a few months ago and I freaked out but received medicine and it went away

I would go to a doctr and get it checked out for sure. It doesn't sound like and STI. Maybe scabies? Since they burrow into your skin and you can get then from towels an sheets.. Sounds more like genital warts but i doubt you have an STI.
