reader, anonymous, writes (3 August 2009): Cost-efficient and guaranteed that she will love it: get a little container from the store, or a nice small, decorative box. Cut paper into small pieces of different sizes, use colored pencils or markers to write one memory on each piece of paper that you have with your mother, fold the pieces of paper and toss 'em in the box. :) I've done this for everyone in my family and they always say it was one of the best gifts they've ever received.
