writes: Was with my girl last week and she suggested I do something different with my pubic hair. I have never even thought of doing so. I play sport so there's showers afterwards so I can't do anything too "rad". Any suggestions from men and women on what to do? maybe a good trim would suffice!!

I think just a good trim will suffice, this will keep you and your girlfriend happy. Also no one in the showers will notice either, I mean, they're not going to be gawking and zooming in to check the lengh of your pubic hair now, are they?

 You could do the Brazilian, which is not too rad. This means cutting back your pubes into one thin vertical line. I do not recommend shaving. The hairs grow back too quickly and itch like mad. Use hair-removing creams but please test for allergies first. In the sports showers, let on that the idea comes from your girlfriend - get her to apply the cream and wash it off - fun experience! Whether true or not, let your shower mates believe you are having better sex after this change. Street cred!

Or ask her is she is willing to help? Sounds to out there then I would re-evaluate your intimacy level with this girl.
I hope she asked if you were willing to do such a thing.
Perhaps she enjoys giving oral sex better if she can access your penis and your testies.
