We've gotten closer, does he still want to be friends or could he want more?

Question - (6 February 2016) 2 Answers - (Newest, 6 February 2016)
A female United Kingdom age 22-25, anonymous writes:

So about a year ago I asked a boy out, he said he thought of me as a friend and that with exams coming up, it'd be impractical. But now, over the past few months, we've become really close - we talk every day in school and online. He waits for me after some of our lessons and we walk together and chat. Anyway, the thing is, I think I like him again, but I don't know if he likes me. My friends tease me and say I flirt with him, but I don't really want the embarrassment of the whole rejection situation again though. So what should I do?

Thanks

Honeypie agony auntI'd stick to JUST being friends. I'm pretty sure if he wanted MORE than friendship, he would have let you know by now.

I'd just tell your friends to chill.

In life sometimes you have to just take a chance and this is one of those times. rejection is a lot better than regret, or missing the opportunity.

I think most men generally dont become close friends with girls unless they are attracted to them. sometimes they dont act on that but i think what you've said about him makes me think probably he does like you. i could be wrong but that's my gut feeling as a man.
