A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

So, me and a guy are very close. But the thing is he has a g/f for about 2 years. We both know each other for about a year and a half. Me and him talk every day, and do everything as a couple. We are practially like a couple, but he has a g/f. When the topic of "us" and "what are we?" comes up, he always says he's my friend. I don't know what to do. Can you give me some advice?

AskEve agony auntIf you are growing to like this guy (and I think you are) then you need to back off from him a little bit and NOT be as close/friendly with him as long as he has a girlfriend. Maybe once you're not there as often he'll see things clearer and realise just what he's missing. You've heard the old adage "You never miss the water till the well runs dry..."
