A male reader, mitch United Kingdom +, writes (24 April 2007):

I've had that feeling once before, although for me it was more of a fleeting glance... like looking deep into someones soul, really seeing who they were... the person was somebody who i really liked, but we only ever became just friends.

So i'd say based on that ask him out! as you were both looking at eachother, i think he could well feel the same way.

Best of luck!
