A male United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I've known this girl for a while and she's never really been more than an acquenance to me and I suppose that hasn't really changed, but she asked me to join her and some mates of hers who I also know and get on well with last week. She didn't ask any of y other mates and she got my number of someone because she didn't already have it and, it is possible that I'm thinking way too much into this, but she asked me to go out again last Saturday so I dunno if she's trying to get closer to me to possibly get with me or ts just random acts of kindness, I'm totally usleas at reading people and a womans view of this would be appreciated, so if I'm being a dumbass tell me but otherwise some advice would be great

Honeypie agony auntI personally would guess that she likes your company and want to get to know you better. She went to the trouble to get your number to invite you, so go out have fun. See how it goes.

A girl who goes her way to get your number is a girl interested in you. Personally, I would not ask for a number or email if I wasn't interested in someone. Ask her out and see what happens. Make it sound like you will be doing something fun and you'll be all set! Good luck!

A female reader, Tisha-1 United States +, writes (6 March 2012):

Tisha-1 agony auntShe certainly doesn't DISlike you, if she's gone to all that trouble to include you in her social circle. Why not take a risk and ask HER out? Then you'll have your answer.

I wouldn't call up and ask out a boy if I didn't want to spend time with him. So assume that she likes you enough to spend time in your company and go from there.

Good luck! Report back!
