 Did sociology as foundation to my Economics degree..ok need some time to scribble something worthwhile up on Giddens who I if remember rightly was some old fart who was a respected waffler in favour of the arguement that folks are responsible for their own behaviour rather than having it pre-determined for them by destiny, culture, upbringing etc. but rather confusingly (for me anyway)punts in the idea that "social structures" have a major impact also.
If I remember wrongly you're fukced.
Don't worry I will now go and check before I post again on the subject. :^P
