Do teenage boys prefer girls in tight trousers or not tight trousers?

I don't wear tight trousers. Will boys still think I am 'fit' even if I don't wear tight trousers?

Well in my opinion it doesn't really matter what a girl wears. If you are confident with the clothes then thats all that matters. I'm sure if you're fit in one thing it will be as good in another. But hey, trousers aren't everything, really...

Wendyg agony auntIf somebody likes you and is attacted to you, then I dont think what you wear is an issue. What you wear is up to you and is part of making you individual. You are the person that you are and have a personality of your own regardless of what you wear. Be yourself, and if someone is interested, let them be interested in you, not what you wear.

A female reader, DrPsych United Kingdom +, writes (31 May 2006):

DrPsych agony auntDo you care if boys think you are 'fit' on the basis of your trousers? Surely you should be attractive to them for rather more than showing off your figure? Personality counts - the 'fittest' girl in the 'fittest' trousers who cannot hold a conversation will not hang onto a boy for long. Being sexy is about who you are, not what you wear. Wear whatever clothing you feel comfortable in.

Some guys have preference of what girls wear, sure. But all in all, you've got to be comfortable. Not just comfortable as in cushion-comfortable, but comfortable with yourself in these clothes. Because when you're comfortable, that's when you're most attractive.

A male reader, Yos Netherlands +, writes (31 May 2006):

Yos agony auntIt really depends on what the girl looks good in, and what the boy likes. No two people are exactly the same and no two people like exactly the same look.

The best you can do is find clothes that you like, and that you think make you look good. If you're not sure, go shopping with friends or family that you trust the taste of.
