Question - (23 November 2012) 4 Answers - (Newest, 23 November 2012)
A female Ireland age 26-29, anonymous writes:

I'm worried. I am 16 and I am fantasizing about my dad. Not all the time or anything but sometimes he just pops into my dreams and I don't normally have sexual dreams. It scares me. He's never done anything inappropriate and I wouldn't want him to but I don't understand why this is happening to me because it scares me. I don't want to think of my dad like this and I don't feel attracted to him at all so what is going on?? :-(

person12345 agony auntSex dreams often happen about people and things we have no attraction to whatsoever. Family members are actually pretty common, however don't get talked about for obvious reasons.

Try to remind yourself that you can't control your dreams and that dreams have nothing to do with how you actually feel in real life.

MSG is just a salt, it gets a bad reputation but is actually totally harmless.

I had one about my own sister once and I certainly don't have any feelings for her in that way! Don't worry, dreams are so abstract and don't mean anything.

Hennessy1989 agony auntI don't think there's anything you can do to control your dreams, also I wouldn't worry to much about them, everyone has unpleasant dreams from time to time, it doesn't mean you secretly want these things does it.
