Question - (11 July 2010) 1 Answers - (Newest, 11 July 2010)
A female United Kingdom age 26-29, anonymous writes:

Well I have been in love with this boy since last summer and my best friend has been dating him for five months and for the first four months I was distraught and I was convinced it was the end of the world I was shattered crushed broken the worst part was that she didn’t know I loved him and she told me everything when they first held hands and kissed and the sweet things he says and I hang out with them both in a three all the time cause they are my best girl friend and my best guy friend and it hurts me so to see them with they’re arms around each other and when he huge me I wish he’d never let go and I hate my best friend for having him but I have to love her too

And in the last month I have been trying to get over him and I found another boy. I don’t love him but I have a bit of a crush on him and I thought it might work out but when I decided to maybe ask him out another girl beat me to it and I have another guy friend and all my friends want us to go out but I don’t feel right with anyone else.

i am honestly wondering what the point is now.

Duckyhelp agony auntDooon't worry! What age are you? Young. The person you think you love, you wont. Your friend has him so you naturaly want the person you cant have, but had a bit of a crush on. You need to let him go. Do focus your emotions on someone else. Be really friendly with all your friends, girls and boys, focus on having fun and getting over this guy, because if you dont, and end up with someone else, you will only think of how much you wish the person your with is the person you want - and you dont want that, could get messy.

You make sure to get over that guy, then talk to guys you are friendly with, it will take time, but your young and have plenty of time to meet someone (i know you must hate hearing it but its true, i guarantee in 2 years you will have a boyfriend and be in love, you just gotta get over this guy)
