THESE ARE MY THOUGHTS: Run Forest, run! Steer clear dear. There is a reason why he is watching animals and humans as oppose to humans and humans. I wouldn't hang around to understand why either!

I'm not expressing any like or dislike to these kinds of films, but I think the people that have said that this guy needs therapy are a little out of line.
The fact that these kinds of films exist mean that there must be a much larger amount of people that like these films then we would imagine. After all, they wouldn't make the films if no one would watch them.
Anyway, it might just be curiosity or a joke... But even if it's neither of these things, it's probably best that you keep quiet about this. Some people like vanilla, some people like chocolate.

Well that would be pretty unsettling if I saw my neighbor having passionate sex with his/her dog. Then again, I found it pretty unsettling to see a dog having sex with a cat as well. 8S

A

I would find it unsettling.

Well there was this woman in the UK who expressed sexual acts with her horse and was caught and charged with animal abuse. I mean, she must really loved her horse to strip her clothes off and do things to him.
This also reminds of that video of a donkey chasing around a fat dude with his massive schlong hanging loose. They should have cuffed and charged that donkey for trying to have sex with that guy.
What about that dog that humped that poor kid when all he did was trying to get up from falling down playing hockey? I say, we should send that dog to therapy for trying to rape that kid.
[laughs]
Seriously though, as with Sahshii, it's POSSIBLE that s/he wasn't getting off on animal porn and was on his computer as a joke of sorts. Heck, some of my friends occasionally send some rather disturbing things over to as a visual prank of sorts. [sigh]
Aside from that though, like Willy had mentioned, it's pretty much none of your business. They might or might not need therapy. You say it's not normal, but who's to dictate normality? You say s/he needs help and it makes you sick, but who's to say s/he needs help in the first place. You being sick is your problem, not anyone else's. It's like me getting rather sick of narrowminded religious people, but I'm not going to kidnap and throw them into an asylum for the mentally deranged, though that would be an excellent idea... 8]

How about minding your own business. Sorry to sound harsh, but this is their problem not yours is it not?

I was a little unclear on this. Are we talking animals screwing humans? Or your family member getting off on animals screwing within their own species?

A

Actually, animals enjoy having sex with humans. I know this sounds disgusting, but it's usually a fact. They are not being "forced" to do it like rammsteinfan suggests.
It is even said, and documented that dolphins "make love" with humans they are close with.
There was also this strange guy in our town who was caught having his dog anally penetrate him (just off a freeway so plenty of people to watch it happen) - but yes he was charged with animal abuse.
Watching animal porn is pretty disgusting really but I'm sure it doesn't mean he's going to go out raping animals so no need to lock away your pet dogs / cats / hamsters.
Why let it bother you so much, why not donate to an animal charity or advocate world peace to thr world or something. It'll be more constructive than complaining to dearcupid, that's for sure.

A

As far as whether or not there's something wrong with the person who's been watching it, that depends on why they're watching it, and to what extent. It could be a case of morbid curiousity or just a sick joke, and thanks the ye olde internets it's very accessible. I wouldn't worry much unless you find more than one or two instances of it. If it's simply a matter of finding this in your cache, I'd let it go. Their intellectual curiousity is not something that you'd want to have this awkward conversation about.

As the two below have said yes it is very wrong and i would consider it to be animal abuse.
Though i wouldnt go as far as reccomending therapy i would reccomend that this person needs to be talked to and talked out of watching anymore beastiality.
If it is true that they are just curious it should just be a phase and it should pass.

Beastiality is not a healthy sexy fantasy and yes it is sick and unnatural.
This person needs councelling and fast. I would go beyond that and recommend that these mental issues are addressed with a qualified therapist.
I hope he gets help and stop encouraging these websites to promote animal abuse.

I myself think that it is wrong. I think that it is animal abuse! The animals are being forced to do this! But to the watcher, there is probably nothing wrong with them. Probably watching it out of curiosity! So don't be too upset with them...say a prayer for him.
Good Luck!

A
reader, anonymous, writes (4 January 2007): Well, I can honestly say that I'm pretty sure it's not technically natural, but most fetishes seem very strange to people who don't share them. As long as it's not doing anyone any harm you don't have a solid reason to confront them about it. Sexual curiosity can take people down all kinds of roads that others might find distasteful, but if it helps, that sort of thing is often just a phase.

A

in plenty of cases its a total misunderstanding, maybe this person was not watching it, maybe someone searched it as a joke...
