I'm in love with one of my brother's best mates, and everyone found out that we liked each other and it was a big deal for a while because he's a little older... but now it's all cooled down because everyone knows nothing would happen, but not my brother won't let his mate talk to me at all, he's told him to completely ignore me, and now he won't talk to me at all, but I still love him and I want to be his friend, nothing should have changed there. Now someone I didn't know had a go at me saying I slept with him when I didn't and I need to tell him someone said that but he won't talk to me. What's going on? What do I do now?  Quite a bit of drama. Here's what you do. If you can't clear up the rumor, ask your brother too. Have a conversation with your brother and let him know how you feel. Tell him you want to be friends with this person.
If your brothers friend is listening to your brother and not talking to you because he says not too, he's not a guy that would be good to go after.
