writes:Hello. I am going steady with my girlfriend for 6 months now. I am 39 and she is 48. The first few months were perfect...we loved each other so much. Now 6 months later things are different. We don`t kiss as often as before,she does not tell me she loves me as much as before. We make love once a week if I am lucky. She also claims she is always tired and she was not like that before. She says I don`t trust her and I do trust her. She argues with me for no reason.I love her so much it hurts me to see her act this way towards me.I feel so helpless and so hollow inside. Well I'm really sorry to break this to you but it looks like you love her a bit more than she loves you.
Back off, give her space and give her a chance to miss you.
If she is feeling smothered then this could be solvable.
If her feelings are simply fading with time then it could be a case of enjoying what has been and going your separate ways.
