Good questions. This was really an experiment to see how well youtube videos fit on the site. I think they work OK. Yes, it is something I'm looking at integrating for:
* agony aunt site profiles (probably restricted to people who've been active for over a certain period)
* answers
There are some challenges with moderating video answers but I think they can be overcome.
I'm really looking for someone who is keen to do a few video answers and then I'll make the necessary changes to make it all happen. So any volunteers to do this, pref people who are familar with youtube, please PM me.
The process would be -
* record the video on your camera
* post the video to youtube
* post the video URL as an answer on DC
The software here would magically detect it's a video and do the right things.

is this something that we will all be able to do at some point? if not for questions (I know you mentioned doing that before), then maybe we can put intros of ourselves on our profile pages? what ideas do you have for video in the future of DC?
