Should I tell him I lost the necklace and earrings he gave me?

okay so me and this guy dated like 4 years ago. we dated 8xs.[we were young and dumb] the last time we broke up it was for good. i didnt get jealous when he had his first serious girlfriend, that didnt bother me at all.[i took his virginty]. and the was in 2007. then in january of this year we did it again and again in march. and i started getting feelings for him bad!and i gave him a birthday party in april and he gave a gorgeous necklace and earrings and i lost them. i have no idea why. any ideas why he may have given them to me? and should i tell him that i lost them?

Helples agony auntBefore you think about telling him, make sure you have checked everywhere. Check the little spots you think it cannot possibly be, because to your surprise, it may just be there.

If worst comes to worst, tell him that you misplaced the jewelry he gave you before he asks you about them. It would be worse for him to bring it up, find out you did not inform him about the jewelry's whereabouts than it would be if you tell him from the start. Maybe he can help you look for it!
