Should I tell her my feelings for her or just wait until we can spend more time together?

Question - (11 July 2009) 1 Answers - (Newest, 14 July 2009)
A male United States age 41-50, anonymous writes:

ok my second cousin and i are not dating and whatnot, but we're very good friends. even though we're cousins, we treat each other like best friends, and she considers me most likley her top guy friend and i consider her my top friend that's a girl.

there is one problem however. she lives in canada and i live in the united states. last time i saw her was a few weeks ago at a wedding and we really spent time with each other. she is one cool girl.

now i want to talk to her as much as i can, but that hasnt been happening. i dont have a phone and the only we we talk is through an instant messenger, where she's not always on.

everytime i go to sleep, i cant stop thinking about her. i want to hang out with her more but i just cant and it hurts to know that. she is one of my bestest friends and i can really rely on her. she always tells me that she loves me (family love) and trusts me a lot and tells me anything. i can do the same. my question is.. should i tell her my feelings about spending time with her? or should i keep it to myself and eventually get opportunities to talk to her? any advice? thank you.

Wait it out. You don't want to have a heart to heart with her only to ruin everything you two have for the time being.
