Should I play hard to get too? I want more from her. But she's always 'too busy'

Question - (8 October 2011) 4 Answers - (Newest, 8 October 2011)
A male United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Time is my worst enemy. I have a friend who I think I am really in love with. The problem is, there is no time! Anytime I ask her to hang out, or even chat, she tells me that she doesn't have time.

She is contantly busy with homework, etc...

This goes both ways. Because it's hard for me to find time too.

I'd really like a relationship to come out of our friendship. But I don't know if she's interested since she's always busy. My question is, how do I tell her when

there isn't any time to?

Or should I just wait?

Talk to her mate and tell her that you would like to be more than friends, at least that way you'll know for sure what she wants. If you are busy too then she might be thinking the same, that you're not interested. It could just be bad timing if you are both busy. Just talk things out.

Advice_man agony auntMy dear friend...there's not such problem as no time!! The truth is, she's not really into you... Suppose the woman of your dreams makes a move on you and asks you out. Would you say (a) sorry babe, i'm crazy about you but i don't have time for this or (b) FIND time and skip other activities to find 2-3 hours and meet with her?? (b) right? see! You are only 18-21, you have a lot to learn about women's behaviour so don't worry, it's not a big deal that you are interested for someone and she is not. You want proof that what I am saying it's true? Don't contact her at all the next few weeks and don't initiate a proposal to meet. If she does the same it means I am right. Let us know what happens. Best wishes!

I think you need to create some space between the two of you and maybe she will come to realize that she needs to make time for you. But you need to understand that she may not share the same feelings that you have for her. In other words I mean that you must understand their feelings as well. It is easy to become angry and frustrated when the person we love actually does not love us back and we think that they need only give us a chance.

Take some time to bring yourself to confess to her and accept the outcome even if it is bad. I don't think you want to stay like this forever. There are many fish in the sea.

If she's too busy for you all the time, she's not interested. If I like a guy and even if I am busy, I'll meet up with him when I'm not busy. No one is busy 24 hours out of the day, every day.
