How can I initiate a long distance relationship?

I met this guy who live in a neighboring country on a holiday. We keep in touch, but not as often as I would like. He means a lot to me,yet I wonder should I be his friend or should I try to interest him in something more?

marieclaire agony auntif its meant to be it will happen at time when its possible for both of you. long distance relationships are really more for people who have been together but have had to move apart. they are a temporary solution and it isn't really worth it in your case. stay friends and you never know what might happen down the line

martini agony auntWhy don't you be his friend, THEN interest him into being something more? Better to have built a more solid foundation than to plunge in hoping the drywalls would hold in place, in case a storm ever blows over. [wink]
