Gabrielle Stoker agony auntI'll keep the value judgements aside regarding her giving you a booty call. You're of age and once you're out of school the teacher-student relationship also ends. If you're compatible, what's stopping you?

QZ agony auntWait, you had sex with a woman and didn't even know her age? I think that's more awkward than dating someone after you've slept together. Just realize that because you've had sex with someone doesn't mean you love that person. I'd focus on the emotional and not the physical first if this is something you seriously want to pursue.

Well you guys had sex already so dating I don't think would be akwarddd compared to that? And if she asked you to have sex, she obviously wants something to do with you.

Yeah! Go for it! You're so lucky you're teacher actually knows that you like her! I had a crush on a teacher before but I didn't tell or do anything. Now she's happily married and I'm alone...Grab the chance while you can! Best of luck. :D

A female reader, anonymous, writes (21 June 2010):

She's five years older than you. Generally I would say go for it, I mean you are at a legal age. Don't think the age is that bad (if anything it might bother her more than you because she can drink and enjoy things that you can't). But you say she is down to earth so maybe she doesn't care about that.

However, this woman is playing with fire. It is so unethical of her to get into teaching and have an affair with her own student. I don't know to me that is just lame. I mean I can understand in different circumstances that you both hit it off and like I said I guess the age isn't that bad. But in this circumstance, like she is supposed to protect you and be a mentor and a teacher, not a lover.

I don't know. That's her life and her risks. I don't know about her but you certainly have nothing to lose.
