I still use this piece of advice to this day.
Does he know you have his number? It could be that he is waiting for you to call him..
But, I always say to myself when I am waiting for a phone call, etc - "if he really wanted to talk to me, or see me, he would pick up the phone and call me, or find some other way to contact me" - this stops me from picking up the phone, each time.
And it's true. Maybe, wait another week and if he still hasn't tried to contact you.. pick up the phone and see what's up..
