A female United States age 30-35, *nonem writes:

I have had most of my dreams not all come to pass. Over 10 years ago, I had a dream that I had an operation on my breasts and I wasn't happy. About 4 years ago, I discovered a painful lump in my left breast and both my breast have been hurting ever since occasionally.

I had a dream I was in the us as I had never been at the time I had the dream. About 10 years later I travelled to the us. I am not an American native. This wasn't any thought of some sort. Let me just say whenever I dream and I read meaning into such dreams like when they baffle you, they always come to pass.

I don't believe in God or a divine being. I am not spiritual. I abandoned Christianity a while ago so this is not some religious ish. Could my dreams lead my path. Should I take them more seriously. I have had many more dream I had about 5 and 10 years ago come to pass.

Fatherly Advice agony auntDreams can be many things. But, by and large they are random firings of neurons while you sleep. Some people (including me) use dreams to help guide life.

Aside from all that, what is it about your beliefs that is preventing you from seeing a doctor when you find a lump in your breast? My guess is that it is fear. Your actions are only increasing your fear. if it helps, you are not going to a doctor because you had a dream, you are going to see a doctor because you found a real lump in your breast while you were awake. Does that make sense?

Hi

First of all on a logic note: If your breasts are physically hurting, then you really should go and get them checked out.

Regarding dreams, I do believe and know that we can have prophetic dreams and even dreams from past times, the trick is remembering the blooming things.

I have a giggle at some of mine when they are unusual, as they can be sometimes, but i believe we should follow our dreams in reality.

I do have a great interest in this subject though and lots of strange experiences that defy logic.

My friend confided in me about a dream she had two day's before she went on her travels, it bothered her that much that she actually phoned me up with a message for family, just in case her dream came true. I remember saying...it's only a dream to reassure her.

A few day's into her trip she was involved in a world disaster and (survived, only just), it was certainly nothing else but prophetic in my eyes...maybe a premonition of what lay ahead or maybe complete coincidence. In the dream She was dead face down surrounded by water and could not shake this dream off, she left goodbye messages of love for her family.

Boxing day Phi phi island .....Tsunami over a decade ago now.

My sister also dreamed of herds of cattle and animals floating in water the night before...? prophetic

I believe there is a divide between the day's mixed up jumble, and releases of subconscious stress, or just dreams, but certainly some knowledge can be found if remembered.

aunt honesty agony auntI guess this is something you have to answer yourself, everybody has different beliefs and different views on the world.

If you feel that these dreams are some sort of sign well then chase them and see where they take you. However you should still take reality seriously and remember that it is the life you are living at the moment that is important and don't let your dreams take away from that.
