writes:I like a very shy girl..we are both 20.i approached her and made obvious i wanted to hang out with her...at first she brought a friend.But then i ignored her so she started texting to me.I asked her out alone and she accepted.Next days she kept making first move via msn,phone.We hang out and had fun.Then she contacted again.But when i asked her for a second date i didnt get a reply..i asked her two weeks later because i felt she still had a"thing" and because she invited me for coffee,and found excuses to meet each other etc.I didnt get a reply but when i said..its ok.i understand!she replied and agreed to hang out.She texted to me next day and told me to go out the very next day.Next day she texted to me and told me to arrange it tommorow.But she said that maybe a friend of hers will come...any thoughts would be appreciated...i know she avoids a "date" but her behaviour is strange an gives me hope...i plan to tell her face to face that i like her.What do you think?We "know"each other for 2 months if it helps.

She probably thinks you're a bit clingy. Don't get me wrong; it can feel like ages when someone hasn't contacted you, but the truth is, generally they know it's driving you crazy. Play it cool, text her once in a while and don't reply immediately. She'll be intrigued.

 I think that if she is really shy, and she has only known you for 2 months, she still doesn't know who you are, so maybe taking a friend along with her makes her feel more comfortable around you 'til she gets to know you better.Being 20 myself I have done it a few times but then i find that the guy is really nice and there's nothing serial killerish about him ;) The friend is just there for support is my opinion. Give her time. Hope this helps =)
