petina1 agony auntBeing a girl and having used this phrase before. She is trying to tell you to back off because she wants to end the relationship by letting you down gently. She wants to finish with you it's as simple as that. It's hard to end a relationship because some men don't let you walk away without it turning nasty. Just accept what she is saying and walk away. She'll think you are a nice guy for that, no complicated endings. Maybe she will go away and miss you and respect you more for letting her have the time away, you never know. But walk away you must.

Respect her space. Perhaps suggest a time when to reconvene and evaluate the relationship. Usually breaks arent good my man but I said usually so be patient, talk with her when you can, and just overall communicate whatever that needs to be said. Good luck.

it means give her a day or two. if she says the same thing end it. do be strung along. most of the time this means she wants out, but is not ready to tell you.
