She's just not into you and her turn down was a kind way of saying "Thanks but not for me". Move on and find someone more receptive to your charms. You wont ever be able to get this girl to feel attracted to you.

Dazzerg agony auntIt's hard to tell but it is often the case that people don't want to risk complicating a friendship by becoming lovers. It's also the case that friends are often not looked upon as potential lovers. I wouldn't take this too harshly. Friendships can often offer more than relationships and can also endure longer.
