Well if you are unemployed at the moment I assume you have no money? It is nice for a guy to take his girl out to eat and for drinks every once in a while. Or atleast have money to enjoy doing things together that for the most part do require having money.

Forget cooking for her, that's nice and all, but what are you doing to get a job? Women like men who can provide not only for them but for themselves too. It is important that you can have money here and there to at least show her a good time. To at least show that you are doing something.

You should focus on getting a job. If the job you are trying to get is out of reach at the moment then any job will suffice at the moment. 2 months is a long time to not be working. Better to have any job than no job.

Just find a job. Any job. I am sure if you do she will find you to be more productive.

You should find out exactly what she means by "productive"
