writes:Me and my boyfriend are sexually active. While doing foreplay...he scratched me down there pretty bad. It hurts to pee, wipe, walk, and wash down there for the past week. What could I do to help ease the pain? I am under 18, and I can not be open to my parents and tell them, or they'll freak. Could there be any common household oriments I can put on my vagina, without it giving me a infection? Like...neosporn? (Sp) what can I do to make it heal faster?? We have a lot of different oriments, but i dont know if any of it, is safe to be on my vagina..Please help.Thnx

See your doctor as Trisha has said you can say you think you have a urine infection which is a very common thing to take and you dont have to be sexually active to take a urine infection so she wont suspect but please be careful i hope your both using protection and if your b/f has scratched you it will be sore for a while the doc will be able to prescribe something safe you can use to heal it.

You definitely should go to the doctor and get this checked out. In my opinion, you shouldn't be keeping something like sexual activity a secret from your parents. If they've forbidden you from having sex, they probably have your best interests in mind.
If you can't bear to tell them that you had sex, then tell them that you're experiencing pain and that you need to go to a doctor. Your health is too important to compromise.
I wouldn't self-medicate, it could even make things worse. This is your health, it's too important to play with.

This is easy, you tell her that you think you have a urinary tract infection. Tell that it really hurts when you pee. That should be enough to get you to the doctors. There, you do have to tell the doctor the truth. Don't be embarassed; doctors get stuff like this all the time.
If she needs more detail, just tell her that you think you might have scratched yourself when you were wiping. That is enough information, and any mom worth her salt will get you seen right away!

Ointments can be tricky. I would just tell your mom you think you might have a yeast infection, or that your cramps are worse than usual and have her take you to your gyno. Then, you can tell your doctor about what happened. They can take a look at things and make sure the damage isn't worse than what you think.
Before you self medicate, go see a doctor. At your age, you should be seeing one regularly. If you're worried about your parents, then go to a planned parenthood clinic which can refer you to appropriate services.
