reader, anonymous, writes (10 November 2006): some peoples advice is tooo deep just use protection and go for it i am not going to lie to you it will be uncomfortable for the first couple of mins but just relax and then it will be enjoyable.
just make sure its what you really want and dont be pressured in to any thing.

You ought to be worried that your boyfriend may get you pregnant and or leave you for another girl eventually and how would that make you feel? You both are too young to be sexually intimate, and I am not going to lecture you here about that I am sure other adults in your life have told you the same thing...listen to us, we may be old, but we were once 16 nearly 17.
Don't be in a rush to give your virginity away to this boy even if you think you love him...if he loves you he will still be your boyfriend if you say, no, not now, I am too young, and I have too much of my life ahead of me to be so intimately involved with you...I have school and my future to consider here, and I am not responsible or financially able to support the result of an unwanted pregnancy, are you?
