A female United States age 26-29, *uitargrl writes:

[OP's Original Title]

So for a while now I've been questioning my sexuality. I always sort of assumed I was straight, and I've had two boyfriends, but lately I've been attracted to my best friend. We've been friends for a year now but we are very close emotionally and physically. She is very funny, pretty, and outgoing, and I can tell I'm starting to fall for her.

She recently broke up with her boyfriend, and she says she doesn't have feelings for him anymore.

We talk/hang out a lot, and even though I know she's just naturally flirty and touchy feely with her friends, I've noticed she acts like this more with me than our other close friends. She holds my hand sometimes, and we hug/put our arms around each other a lot. She's kissed me on the cheek before and she held me in her bed once but I can't tell if it was a joke or not because other people were there. Sometimes I notice her staring at my boobs or checking me out, and she's mentioned that she thinks I have a good body.

She's also said things that would make me think that she might be bisexual. She's recently said that she thinks most people our age are confused/curious about their sexuality, and she thinks that it's natural for two women to be together sexually.

I've realized that I'm bisexual, but I'm too nervous to tell anyone about it yet, especially her. She keeps sending mixed signals and it's really hard to tell what she means by all of this. Help?!

I'm guessing she's a very secure person and is very liberal.

I think you should try to bring up casual conversations about bisexuality see how it goes and let her know you are curious about the subject.

When you feel prepared say that you would love to make out with a girl "you know just to see how it feels" I bet she'll propose right away for you guys to kiss (if not propose yourself and if she has a bad reaction pretend it's a joke).

I once did that with a friend for fun, in your case it's not just for fun but try that first and then see how things go from there on.
