I have lightly olive skin (not dark, really subtle) and green eyes - I really have no idea what would suit me? I've looked on lots of different websites and watched 'how-to' videos but nothing really seems to suit me/look nice. Someone suggested that a nice look would be really red lipstick with subtle eye make-up (kinda like Marilyn Monroe/Christina Aguilera style) but I'm so conscious of getting it wrong and looking stupid. My questions are then; What make up style would suit my skin tone/eye colour? What colours would go well?Any useful prom-make up websites? Thanks :)Ellaa ' x Reply to this Question |

And practice putting it on loads before you go, don't really wanna look a clown :) With my prom I just went simple, black eyeliner and eyeshadow, pale pink lip gloss and a slight pink blush because I'm super pale it felt best on me.Have fun at your prom :)

It sounds like i have the same skin tone and eye color as you do... I have found that midtoned pinkish purple eyshadow looks really good and makes my eyes pop! it also depends on what color dress your wearing i wore a dusty pinkish purple dress to my prom. the red lipstick thing looks better on pale skin.... i would sugest a nutral lip gloss youll be having to much fun to go put your lip stick on 50 times through the night anyway. but if all fails go with a color around your dress color or a shimery mix of browns and beige it will look elegent and still hot.
