Well it certainly sounds like he does like you, boys just dont like admitting it outright incase they get rejected.
If you like him, talk to him and get to know him

 I would say he likes you but he's too shy to admit it to your friends! Do you like him?? I assume you do! Act naturally and try to get to know him! Remember you're still young, boys are confusing! Play it cool! Good luck xxx
