writes:im 18,female,5 foot 11 inches and i used to be 15 stone(i know i know....how embarassing!)but now i am 11 stone(and very proud!) but i took a test 4 days after my period was late and it said not pregnant but my period is still late....8 days late now...i am very worried....could i be pregnant???i am not on the pill and he did not use a condom.but I am under a lot of stress at the moment(i am having an affair with my married boss)I still have not told him about my test and late period...i dont want to worry him.

Its obvious what the problem is here. Stress! I get stressed 99% of the time and my periods are always late. Iv just had to do a pregnancy test too because i felt 'different' this time round, my boobs hurt, i had missed a period,i felt sick for a few days. At the end of it, the test was negative. But i am going to take another test in about 5-7 days to make sure and I think that you should do the same.
If not, change your lifestyle a little like finding a way to relieve your stress, instead of in bed with your boss;) Have a bath, listen to music. It helped me before and i hope it does the same for you. Good Luck.

reader, anonymous, writes (19 November 2006): Alot of times you get so stressed out bout being preganant that you cannot ovulate( understress) - so your perdio cant come. If the test says no, then it probalbay means no. Plus it ishard to ovulate and concieve when you are under so much stress about it. Hope this helps.
