A male South Africa age 36-40, *onik writes:

Hello everyone I'm 21 and my girlfriend is going to turn 18 soon, we have been together for about 8 months now, I've never met such a wonderful girl that is open to talk about anything, yesterday we decided to "try" as we are both virgins, We fore-played and when I had to put in a condom, my penis was not fully erect anymore, we kissed and kissed but my penis couldn't be strong.

Question 1: Why was my penis not getting fully erect just after putting a condom?.....

But as we tried getting my penis inside her, we failed, I even asked her to hold my penis and put it inside her but as soon as the head of the penis entered, she was all in pain, I was afraid and didn't want to hurt her, suddenly when we tried a different position, I managed to get in for about a minute or so, after a long time though, she was screaming and I asked if it hurt and she said Yes, when I took it out it was the end of it. It couldn't be hard again. And I didn't have an orgasm because I didn't feel like having it as I was frustrated. My main question is "Is she still a virgin or not?

Mikes agony auntYou are both no longer Virgins. Just because there was no orgasm doesnt mean it wasnt sex.

What rock n roll says is true, though as its your first time and you were both Virgins another reason could simply just be nerves getting the better of you.

Hope it all works out

A reader, anonymous, writes (30 August 2009):

If your penis entered her, then she is no longer a virgin, and neither are you! A possible answer to your erection problem: the end of a penis is very sensitive and condoms are cold to the touch, tight, and lesson the feeling (slightly) in your penis. If the condom were to somewhat restrict a certain amount of blood to your penis or irregulate the temperature even slightly, it could cause you to loose an erection.
