 Does he NEED a nickname? How about just call him whatever comes from the heart and feels natural.

reader, anonymous, writes (6 August 2011): Depending on what your bf's name is, you can possibly create a nickname out of his name.I did that with my bf's name, but some names are harder than others.Also like it was said before as time goes on you'll probably find a nickname for him.

 The best nicknames are often spontaneous, inside ones (inside meaning they come out of a shared experience). Some of the generic ones are the "babe", "tiger", "love", etc. Just try not to make them seem forced.
I say give it time...the right one will just come out naturally I think. Some people come up with nicknames for everyone. To others, saying the person's name is the sweetest sound of all.
