reader, anonymous, writes (1 September 2006): unfortunately, we can't just make someone fall in love with us at our own will. if it were that simple, the world would be one happy place...or terrible place. you decide. but you CAN talk to her. find out why her feelings have changed, ask her what you can do, and how you can do it. if you've been married 15 years, hopefully you've learned how to communicate. so use it. try and find out how you can make that spark come back. good luck.

 Friend, you were married for a long time, did your wife give an explanation for why she left? Were you arguing all the time? Were you intimate regularly, what happened.
