Ms. Tanya agony auntSmart move getting the pill!

I doubt your pregnant, but it is possible. I suggest going to the Hospital and getting a test done. Go with a friend if you don't want your mom knowing. And your Period coming early is not a sign of being pregnant to my knowladge.

I hope it all turns out for the best!

b3x agony auntFisrtly you need to congratulate yourself for thinking about the precautions when having sex. You used a condom and also becuase it came off you took the responsibilty of this and went to your doctor. Your level headed and should be proud of yourself for doing something about it!

The morning after pill has many different hormones inside it. The pill is to work by preventing your ovaries from releasing an egg, and by affecting the womb lining, so that a fertilised egg couldn’t ‘embed’ itself there.

On the leaflet you got with it it should tell you information about the side effects of it and guess what, you coming on your period early is one of them so you have nothing to worry about!

Be proud of yourself, you did something responsible when you were having sex and using contraception but you shown even more responsibility by getting the morning after pill. So give yourself a pat on the back, and I really don't think you have anything to worry about! Take Care honey xx
