Okay this is more a personal problem and I don't know where else to ask. I have been checking my testicles the past week as I think it is important and they do look normal but if I feel on the left it is a bit bigger than my right and when I feel it hurts slightly but nothing significant about the pain. I don't have any pain from them and they are very normal but I think I am being paranoid that when I touch them I feel a bit of pain i think I have a problem.

Thoughts?

Miss_Oz agony auntFirst off I would adivse that if you have any concerns at all about the health of your testicles, then go straight to your doctor. Don't be embarassed, he or she will deal with this kind of complaint all the time. You may have a varicocele, which is like a varicose vein on the testicle, a widened vein that you can feel on the outside of your testicle that can cause pain. One of your inner tubes may have gotten twisted, which can be painful but is usually easily fixed. It could be simple trauma; have you been injured in that area recently? Another problem could be testicular torsion, where one of your testicles has rotated around in the scrotum; this is a serious condition that needs to be imediately treated, as the bloody supply to the testicle fails and can cause 'death' of the testicle and the tissue surrounding it. Testicular cancer is the biggest worry to most men with a complaint like yours. The longer you leave this unseen to, if something is quite seriously wrong, it will only get worse; and not knowing for sure will be a strain to deal with. It could be serious, it might not be at all; you won't know until you get checked out. I recommend an immediate visit to your doctor and try not to worry unless it turns out there is something to worry about; this complaint is common amongst men of all ages and doesn't always turn out to be much of a problem. Best of luck.

kenny agony auntIts good you check your testicals on a regular basis. With testicals it is normal that one is slightly bigger than than other one. Im sure you are fine, but if you have any doubts whatsoever just book and appointment to see your local GP and he will check you out, and it will give you some peace of mind too.

Good luck
