 I am gay and i would have trouble cross-dressing personally. i love to watch logo, witch shows drag but as for me wearing it, nope.
any ways i think you shouldn't do it for your gf.
why cant you buy some costumes like of batman or robbin, well robin does wear tites and his costume is close to a , red chest plate,cloke, a belt, with the cool mask that covers the eyes. and i think thats hot. or a cop uniform, or something els. but make-up too, i dont know about that.
maybe you can dress up for fun with out womans clothes?
if you want you can i guess, but i couldn't do it lol.
maybe you can play burgler with her, role playing?
or maybe she could tie your hands up with her scarf?

 If you don't mind doing it to please her than I don't see the problem in it. Don't let yourself get bully into doing something you don't really want, but if your ok with the idea no harm it that.
