My coworker says that he might be interested but I think that he might just enjoy my company. What do you guys think?

Question - (18 August 2013) 1 Answers - (Newest, 19 August 2013)
A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I am massively attracted to my superior at work.

I am 20 and he is 32.

We both work at a hospital, he is a general surgery resident and I am a research student.

Are these signs that he is attracted to me as well?

He:

Always takes me with him to do rounds instead of others (my coworker who is also my close friend has noticed this and I was oblivious of it thinking nothing of it.)

Staring at my lips while he speaks

Leaning in when he talks to me

Smiling and laughing whenever he's around me

Teasing me

Asking personal questions like about my family, etc.

My coworker says that he might be interested but I think that he might just enjoy my company. What do you guys think?

I really, really like him but I don't want to read into everything which is what I am doing right now. It just hurts to think about him not feeling the way I do... I want to stop feeling this way if he doesn't feel the same way about me.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

So_Very_Confused agony auntHe may just be a nice guy...

YOU really like him so you will read into anything he does or says as a way to feed your crush...

it's never a good idea to date co-workers and it's a worse idea to date supervisors...
