My best friend and I have sex with the same guys (threesome). She recently was tested positive for chlmydia. I freaked out and got tested too but my results were negative. How can this be? Has anyone ever had an std and been through a similiar problem?

My guy had an STD and I did not. So yes it's possible.

Is it possible that your friend could have slept with another guy outside of your 3somes?

Perhaps, your friend was the one spreading the STD, rather than the guy?

chigirl agony auntIt's not a problem in your case, you don't have chlamydia. What happened is that when you have sex with a person with an STD, you aren't guaranteed to catch it. First off an STD is passed only through genital to genital contact. Touching doesn't spread it, kissing doesn't, licking doesn't (or in the case of chlamydia it doesn't, there are SOME STD's that spread in other ways as well). Next, even if you have unprotected sex with a person with any STD, you aren't 100 percent guaranteed to catch it! I don't know the percentages for each and every STD, but they vary from 5 percent chance to 20 percent chance and so on. If you catch it you catch it, but there's also gonna be a good chance you didn't.

Just be happy you didn't catch anything this time. Chlamydia is treatable.

Use a condom, stop spreading the std's!

I guess your friend may of had a small tear or something in her vagina/anus that allowed STD to get through and infect her and not yourself. Or the infected guy(s) ejaculated into her spreading the love...

Keep safe, close call here! Could of been more then just chlamydia
