A female United Kingdom age 26-29, anonymous writes:

Hello world!

I'm writing to you men out there, or women who feel they can provide insight!!

About a year ago I was entranced in a cafe by the most beautiful young man I have ever seen. Although that wasn't what entranced me: he was sitting on his own, reading a novel, drinking a coffee, totally in his own world. It grabbed my attention because I myself love to do the same (in fact when I saw him I was doing precicesly the same!) but when you see someone aged just 21 doing it seems old worldly and self-assured in a very attractive, charming way.

But let me say too, this guy isn't beautiful. Model, screen star beautiful. And very stylish too, so he obviously isn't oblivious to his charms. Since catching each other's eyes that time, he matriculated in my university, and the glances have only become more intense. To the point where, finally, he introduced himself to me a few months ago. He was amazingly sweet and shy but once he got talking he wasn't awkward. I however was. I just couldn't believe he was talking to me.

I am not a very shy person with men. I'm not film star beautiful certainly but I am not unattractive. I am fit and healthy, I know how to dress myself and I know that I am pretty popular among the men in school. I don't wish to sound stuck up: I also think I have a huge ugly nose, fat thighs and desperately want smaller boobs, but I do know that even if I have faults, I have become pretty good over the years at attracting men, I'm told I have a natural sex appeal, and I am relatively independent and know that in general if I simply act as I am then the right people will naturally be drawn to that.

After a few instances over a few weeks of bumping into each other and having some friendly, flirty chats, and some soft core eye f**king, this weekend it came to a head. I had for the most part put him out of my head. After all, nothing had happened and why would it? Men that beautiful can choose from any woman! Why on earth would that choice be me!!? However on Saturday night we performed in a concert together (we are both musicians). Throughout the rehearsals I caught him staring. On show night I decided to go all out and dress in a simple black suit and heels with a backless body underneath. I felt great for once, perhaps I looked as stylish as him. In the bar afterwards, with my jacket off, I was getting a lot of attention. Lots of my male friends were flirting aggressively, I was playfully deflecting their advances. He sat with his small group of close friends (as I said he is shy) in the middle of the room and I could feel his eyes on me. When any man was talking to me he watched my conversation intently, ignoring his group of friends. Finally I went to the bathroom, which involved walking down some steps underneath where he was sitting. He turned right around and stared at me. A full, 10 second long eye f**k. The kind of look you can never get out of your head. I almost passed out in the bathroom. The night went on and I was dragged away by friends, but I cannot stop thinking about that look!

Men, do you stare/have intense eye sex with women if you are not interested in them? Or, would you do it if you had a feeling she was interested in you but you weren't particularly interested in her, and just felt like playing games? Help, please!

Female anon just made my night .. thank you thank you .. I've never laughed so much ..

I agree with the rest this is merely a guy liking a little of what he see for believe me if he was that interested he be asking you out .. guys still want to be guys . They want to chase .. and why shouldn't they ..

I don't think it's a good idea to ask him out but I do think you could make light chat as honeypie says and discover whether there is a gf somewhere .. ask if he enjoyed the night be light , be funny and then say you have to run ..

Honeypie agony auntDear OP, get your head out of your softcore smut romances and ASK the guy out. You could suggest going for coffee and a chat.

He is looking at you, he started to talk to you - YES he is interested and definitely NOT shy. Could be he is just looking at you and NOT doing more because he has a GF... You never know. And until you ASK him out, you never will.

You have this whole ROMANCE in your head, why not see if there is ACTUALLY something there in REALITY?

Just remember a relationship based on looks only is not necessarily going to last past the superficiality.

Anonymous 123 agony auntEye sex? Wow... That's the first I've heard this term! Didn't even know it existed!

Anyway.

I don't know what to make of this post but here's my two cents.

You seem a little full of yourself and a little too dramatic. As N91 said, quit playing these games and ask him out. You seem confident enough, what's stopping you?

N91 agony auntI've never heard anyone wonder about anything like this before and honestly...it sounds a tad childish.

You're both adults. If you're interested in him, tell him, ask him out and then you will have your answer without these little games.

It seems to me that men will have eye sex if they didnt want to get a woman pregnant!

Plus its handy for waiting in queues as it passes the time.

And you can do it to multiple women in the space of a minute so it is very time economical.

If you see a man with a condom dangling off his eyebrow he has either just had sex and it is filled with watery secretion or he is about to have sex and doesnt want to get eye disease.

It is generally less intense if the male has a glass eye as the gaze tends to be non directional!

It is not illegal in public and people are less worried about eye sex procurement than prostitution.

Plus it helps if the gaze is softer rather than hard, so long as it follows the female form.

Also it is perfectly legal whilst driving.

Eye sex depends entirely on not talking to the woman otherwise it would be oral sex!

So guys who are horny use their eyes and not their horns, secure in the knowledge that there will be no resulting court case or maintenance battle over little eyes and the patter of tiny gazes!

Wars are won on steely gazes as are poker games so you had better be aware of who you have eye to eye contact with as the results can be earth shattering.
