writes: Ok I'm a gay teen. Lately Ive been getting overly jealous of my (straight,girl) bestfriend. Some things that get me jealous are her talking to other people for advice, and inviting people places, but never asking me to tag along. What do I do about these feelings?

I guess with these things it's not straight cut and black and white. Just try to deal with it like any other thing, hopefully it'll work out for everyone in some way.

reader, anonymous, writes (5 January 2013): I would say just confront her about it. If you wanna tag along, ask to go. If she's really your best friend you should be able to communicate this. However, maybe she just wants some space to branch out(I dunno). I always say, communication is key in any relationship!
